Main Street Racing & Automotive was started in 1997 by Ken Baird. After gaining experience at a Ford dealership, a GM dealership, a British car shop, and a general repair shop, Ken decided to open his own business at age 27. March 1997, Main Street Automotive opened its doors for the first time at 2319 Community Way, North Gower. While he started out renting the property, within a year it was clear the business had strong potential and so Ken purchased the building, and we have been located here ever since. We are very thankful for the support we have received from the community over the years, and hope we can continue to give back in the future.
